Ms. Dancewicz is a native of Poland. She came to United States after completing her Master's of Music Degree in violin performance at the Krakow Music Academy. While still at school she became an assistant concertmaster of the Sinfonietta Cracovia, the chamber orchestra the City of Krakow, which is now one of the most prominent ensembles in Europe. While playing with Sinfonietta she had the chance to work and perform with world renowned artists: Christoph Eschenbach, Krzysztof Penderecki, Grigori Zhyslin, Tabea Zimerman, John Axelrod, Jerzy Maksymiuk and Jan Krenz. At the same time she was invited to play with some of the finest professional orchestras in Poland, including the Krakow Philharmonic, Krakow Radio Symphony, Sinfonia Varsovia, Capella Cracoviensis.

Ms.Dancewicz is an active chamber musician. She was the initiator and the leader of the unique Family String Quartet, which was formed with her parents and her brother in 1994. FSQ was a frequent guest of radio and television broadcasts in Poland and gave numerous concerts across the country. In 1996 she spent six months in Japan performing as a leader of Polish String Quartet on the Northern Island of Hokkaido. In April of 2006 along with her piano trio partners she won the Lamont Chamber Music Competition in Denver, CO.

In 1997 Ms.Dancewicz was selected to participate in the project of one of the greatest contemporary pianists - Krystian Zimerman: Polish Festival Orchestra. PFO traveled throughout Europe and the eastern United States performing nearly forty times Chopin's Piano Concertos with K.Zimerman as soloist. Ms.Dancewicz participated in the recording of the Chopin concerti for Deutsche Grammophon in the summer of 1999.

As an orchestra musician Ms. Dancewicz performed in world's most prestigious halls including the Berlin Philharmonic, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the National Library in Vienna, Royal Festival Hall in London, Salle Pleyel in Paris, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and Carnegie Hall in New York.

In the United States she pursued her second Master's Degree at Rice University in Houston, TX, where she was studying with Kenneth Goldsmith. In Houston Ms. Dancewicz was principal second violin of two young chamber orchestras: Orchestra X and the Houston Chamber Orchestra, the latter being the rising star of the city's art stage.

After arriving in Colorado in August 2004, Ms. Dancewicz became a new member of the Boulder Philharmonic and Boulder Chamber Orchestra, serving as principal second violinist in the latter. She also performs with Denver's Mercury Ensemble and the Greeley Philharmonic.

She recently received her Artist Diploma at Denver University Lamont School of Music - the most artistically selective program at that school, where she was studying with Yumi Hwang-Williams.
